Niall gets chosen to play for Ireland at the Beaufort Polo Club.

Niall was very proud to be picked to play for Ireland in the international test match against the Piaget Young England Team!

The team consistead on Seb Dawney, Mikey Henderson and Max Hutchinson. The game had a huge crowd watching as HRH Prince Harry had played in the game before - No pressure boys!

After a fantastic game, the Irish team lead throughout the game and came out on top! Making this the first time the Irish team have beat the English! Surrey Polo is making history!

As an extra special end to the day, in front on the prince - Nialls favourite pony, Squeaky, won Best Playing ROR. Making her officially Irelands current Best Playing pony!

Extra day off for the fantastic ponies!

DJ Cats, Surrey Polos resident team wins the Cowdray Benson Cup, 8 goal!

After an exciting match versus Jaeger LeCoultre, the boys pulled it out the bag to win the game convincingly!

Massive congratulations to the whole team who worked incredibly hard all week, getting over 20 horses to polo (looking fantastic!) for5 days straight!

Same again next year boys!

We welcome Surrey Polos first home bred foal into the world!

Hannahs favourite mare on the yard gave birth to a fantastic little filly this week!

Out of the Peter Hewitt mare, Wanda, that has played the Gold Cup with Tom Morley, and by Crafty Politicition, a stallion who has also played the high goal under Max Routlidge. Young "Liberty" has all the breeding to be a super star! At the moment however, we are all just enjoying her being super cute!

Niall plays for Ireland on Coronation Cup day!

Niall was lucky enough to be picked for to play for Ireland against the Piaget Young England team as a rematch from their game at the Beaufort!

He played with Milkey Henderson, Max Hutchinson and Ryan Pemble, making them a fantastic 16 goald team. Unfortunately this time they were defeated in the dying seconds of the game, so another rematch should hopefully be on the cards!

To top off a fantastic day, Nialls best horse, Chelsea, a 5 year old retrained racehorse, won Best Playing ROR!

Thanks to Chelseas prize money, the grooms and players all had a well deserved night off enjoying the after party!!

Niall takes over the management of Hickstead arena club

Niall has taken over the running of The All England Polo CLub, at Hickstead Showground. This is a great opportunity and Niall is very much looking forward to encouraging more people to take up arena and concentrating on coaching the younger members of the polo community. The huge arena has all the facilities to put on some fantastic arena tournaments concluding with the International match in March. Niall would like to thank the chairman, John Bunn, for the opportunity.
